"Yoga skin" is a technique created by celebrity makeup artist, Sarah Hill, towards the end of 2018. The result is glowing, fresh, juicy, revitalized and hydrated looking skin. Unlike other skin trends such as Korean "glass skin" which is more focused on a perfectly airbrushed looking complexion, this method enhances your natural skin. Are you ready to look like you've just stepped out of a yoga studio? Keep on reading!
Start with your daily skincare routine. If you don't have one yet, click here! Wait a few minutes for your skin to dry, then apply a light layer of primer and continue with the steps below to achieve the "yoga skin" effect.
- 3 pumps of liquid foundation
- 1 drop of facial oil
- 1 drop of liquid illuminator
- (optional) glow drops
Apply with your hands in order to improve circulation; really work the product into your skin. Build up in layers until you are satisfied with the result. Finish with a small amount of liquid concealer if you have problem spots but apply using a fluffy brush in order to achieve the most natural look. If you would like, use an illuminating powder to set the concealer. No powder on the rest of the face! Use cream based blushes and bronzers if you wish. That's it! Wasn't that easy? Special shout-out again to the talented Sarah Hill for creating this technique! Check out the original yoga skin video here.
